The background photo is of Schoodic Point in Acadia National Park. All the rest of the photo shots were also taken in Acadia National Park in Maine. Truly a beautiful and relaxing place to visit.

Over the years that we have lived in Maine I would estimate that we have visited Acadia National Park around thirty times. We have been there with my mom and dad maybe 6 different times (every year when they came to visit it was the first choice for my mom). We have also traveled there with our friends, Ross and Lorrie, with our daughter Susan, with our daughter Debi on their respective visits back home to us but most of the time it was just my wife and I. Every time that we drove to Acadia we would stay overnight at least once and usually two days. Most trips we would stay in a different motel, just for the fact they were not the boring chain motels and were all rustic and unique.

My mom and dad came to visit in Maine every summer and their favorite destination was Acadia National Park. We would just sit and relax by the water for hours. Occasionally we would even spot a whale or some seals. The photo of me shows that I would do almost anything for a picture (even get wet.)
